Chili Spiced Filet Mignon with Garlic Herb Butter

  • 4 Prime cut Filet Mignon
  • 1/2 cup Chili Steak Rub
  • 1/4 cup Canola oil
  • 1 cup Garlic Herb Butter Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley chopped for garnishing


  • Coat each steak with the canola oil. Salt, pepper, and rub the steaks with the steak rub.  Let sit about 20 minutes to set up rub.
  • Heat grill to high heat, +500° to sear steaks.
  • Add steaks to grill and let cook until bottom is seared, about 3 to 4 minutes. Flip over and baste with butter mixture as the steaks cook.
  • Once second side is seared lower temperature to 350 degrees and let steak cook to desired doneness, continuing to baste with butter mixture.
  • Once done, let steak sit to rest, about 5 minutes. Once rested, baste with butter one last time lightly and garnish with parsley.
